Powder Puff Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who came out dressed in pink to the SPATS Fundraiser Party on Saturday and supported the team. We had quite the collection of empties left over. Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves! Congrats to the best dressed winners as well. There were some excellent outfits worn to the fundraiser.
The SPATS team won their first game (ever) this past Saturday as well, beating Brock on thier own home turf for an exhibition game. This coming weekend (Feb. 4-6th) is the big Powderpuff tournament at Laurier they've been waiting and practicing for over the last few months. Feel free to come on out and cheer on the girls. There are tournament festivities that will be going on after the championship game on Saturday Feb. 6th. If you've come out to the games, you might as well come out to celebrate afterward as well!

This week we are still collecting money from anyone's empties they've taken back on thier own for us. Please give your money to one of the following girls from each year:
1st - Kerri Dunsmore
2nd - Lauryn Longo
3rd - Heather Tuggnett
4th - Jill Bell
We'll be collecting up until Thursday since that evening is the official start of the Laurier Tournament.
Thank you to those who've donated money already.

SPATS Fundraiser

S.P.A.T.S Fundraiser!!

The AT Powderpuff football team is running an AT Program bottle drive over the next few weeks. With the money raised, we're going to use half to help offset our cost to play in the tournament and then donate the other half toward Breast Cancer Research. The tournament we're entering at Laurier University donates so we're going to give a S.P.A.T.S team donation to be included with the Laurier Lettermen's overall donation from the tournament.

What we need you to do:
SAVE ALL YOUR BOTTLES & CANS (so all bottle & can empties that had those beverages inside that are available to be purchased at two select types of stores)

We're going to do a mid-month collection probably the 23rd or 24th of January.

There is also an AT program social in the works for January 30th!!! So Save The Date!!(more details on this social to come so check the blog) The social will be pink themed. There will be a prize of a six pack of a nice beverage to the best dressed in the most amount of pink. (The only catch; You obviously have to finish those beverages at the social so we can use the empties!)
After the social, we'll be doing another collection. So if you want to lug your empties to the social you can, but we'll be doing a second pick up as well on the 31st.

The tournament date is Feb. 4-6th, so please save all that you can!
Thanks everyone!
