Hi Kirsty,
Hello Everyone,
Dear Certification Candidates. We realize you will soon be busy getting ready for your final exams but we thought this year we would try and be a bit more proactive in the pursuit of students looking for the opportunity to a gain some valuable experience in both the field and clinical setting. Here at Carleton University, we will once again be looking for Certification Candidates to fill positions with our Varsity teams for the fall and winter semesters.
Geared towards a 3rd or 4th year student or CAT(C). CAT(C) or Certification Candidate need to work at goalie camp. The commitment includes 10-12 hr days but it pays 850/week and is in Missisauga at Iceland Arena. The contact is Jon Elkin; 416-818-2493. Again, its a very hard job but pays well. The camp is called Jon Elkin's International Goalie Training School. Its an elite camp that has kids from all over the world, aged 10-25. There are two weeks when it is NHL and AHL goalies only. The therapist will also be responsible for dryland training everyday.
If anyone is available Friday, March 12 from 11am-7pm, 2-3 volunteers are required to cover the CFL scouting camp being held at Varsity Stadium in Toronto. If you are interested in attending, please contact Duane Forde at 416-200-4069 or duane.forde@ctv.ca for more details.
