The Tri-City Americans Hockey Club is looking to fill the position of Athletic Therapist for the upcoming 2010-11 hockey season. All interested applicants should apply with a resume and references to Bob Tory at btory@amshockey.com.

No phone inquiries please. Applications will be accepted through July 1, 2010 with all candidates selected for interviews being contacted following the deadline.

Coverage Needed

Hi guys,

We are desperately looking for Certified Athletic Therapists or Registered Physiotherapists to help out for the upcoming Wine Country Run June 12th. This is their second year, and if the first was any indication, the second will be a blast. During the 10km and ½ marathon they actually have wine tasting stations, and also at the finish line.

We were able to get a budget this year and are able to offer $150 per therapist for the event, plus some goodies from Reebok and a technical race shirt.

Date, times and location:
June 12th, 2010
Times: 2-7pm (the latest)
Location: Jordan, Ontario (just east of Grimsby off the QEW)

Please let me know ASAP.

Cheers,

National Basketball Championships

Dear Kirsty McKenzie:

Ontario Basketball is excited to be hosting, in partnership with Canada Basketball and Humber College, the Girls 15U & 17U National Basketball Championships from August 2nd-7th, 2010. We are currently searching for athletic therapists to be on site at Humber during that week. Are there any students in Sheridan’s Athletic Therapy program who would be interested in this opportunity? It would be a fantastic way for students to gain hands-on experience while being involved in Canada’s premier amateur basketball competition.

If you or your students require more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me. We require athletic therapists for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts – the shifts are fairly flexible and we would be happy to work around the students’ schedules.

Thank you in advance for your help in promoting this opportunity at Sheridan. We hope to have your students’ support and we look forward to working with them in making the National Championships a success.

Yours in basketball,

Amanda Lam
