Coverage Needed

Gender Blender is a 2-day Ultimate Frisbee tournament that hosts over 600 players. The age of the athletes ranges from 19 to 50. The games will be up to 75 minutes in length. 60 games will be played on Saturday and 40 games will be played on Sunday. 6 fields will be in use at the main site and 3 at satellite fields. Medical coverage will only be at the main site.

Many of the athletes will arrive on Friday night and camp until Sunday. Alcohol will be served on site in the evenings.

Date/Time: Saturday, June 7 – 8:00am to 5:30pm, Sunday, June 8 – 8:00am to 4:00pm



Location: Fergus & District Community Centre, 550 Belsyde Avenue East, Fergus, Ontario (~ 1.5 hours west of Toronto)

Honorarium: $100/day, lunch will be provided and there is a possibility of carpooling from Oakville



Medical Supplies: Arrangements are being made for medical supplies sponsorship


Requirements: 1 certification candidate to work along side a certified AT. Based on previous tournaments, the therapists can expect to be spending much of the morning taping ankles and providing emergency care during the balance of the time.
