Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking applications for Graduate Assistant/Intern Athletic Trainers. VCU is a NCAA Division I school and member of the Colonial Athletic Association. This is a nine-month position, running from August to mid-May with a stipend of $17,000 a year. Responsibilities will include providing and/or facilitating medical care for the VCU student-athlete population, including but not limited to injury prevention; injury evaluation; first aid, and injury treatment and rehabilitation. Must possess strong written and verbal skills along with the ability to multi-task. Must be flexible, creative and resourceful. Current CPR certification and Bachelor’s degree required.
