Hey guys,

I am currently seeking an AT student to take over my current field placement with the Oakville Buzz Junior B lacrosse team.

The team plays its home games out of Glen Abbey Arena on Third Line & Upper Middle Road here in Oakville. Transportation is provided for all road games either through traveling on a team bus or with the coaching staff.

Pay is $50 per game (2 sometimes 3 games a week) and $25 for practice (Tuesday's at 8pm at Glen Abbey Arena). I have opened an account for supplies with Dunbar Medical in Mississauga and the team covers all/any supply expenses you may have (tape, splints, etc.). I would need someone to start this position on June 9th. At that point there are 5 regular season games remaining and it looks as if the team is poised for a good playoff run this year. Insurance is covered through the Ontario Lacrosse Association.

The players, coaches, parents and management are all great to work with and really appreciate having the Athletic Therapy student available to help with the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries. As well it provides you with a great opportunity to stay on top of your field skills over your internship and will most likely result in an opportunity for placement and some money next summer as part of your summer internships. I really hope that someone can help me out with this as it would be greatly appreciated.
