The York Simcoe Express (YSE) Minor Midget hockey team is a minor hockey
team affiliated with the York Simcoe Express AAA hockey association which
is a member of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. By way of this e-mail
the YSE minor midget team would like to explore the possibilities of
securing the services of a student from the Athletic Therapy Degree Program
at Sheridan College for our upcoming hockey season. It is our understanding
that the college does offer field placement opportunities for students and
we believe an opportunity to work with elite minor midget hockey players is
an excellent opportunity.



The minor midget hockey year is a key year for competitive AAA hockey
players as it represents the draft year of the Ontario Hockey league and as
such we are looking to provide the players with the best support possible in
the way of athletic therapy. The team will likely play close to 80 games
from Sept. to April of this upcoming year and practice 1-2 times per week.
The team represents communities from Newmarket, Aurora, Georgina and TNT and
plays most homes games in the Newmarket area.



By way of this e-mail the YSE Minor Midget team would like to be considered
a candidate for a placement student for the 2009/2010 season and would be
pleased to fill in any application necessary to qualify. In addition we are
unclear as to any associated costs with the placement program but would be
willing to support dependent upon need. If more information is required from
