Coverage Needed

Ice Docs Tournament Friday April 9,10, 2010



This two day tournament in the Collingwood area is at 6 different rinks for 800 Ontario Medical Doctors comprising 51 teams.The arenas are (Collingwood, Thornbury, Wasaga Beach, Elmvale, Stayner, Meaford)

This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate what Athletic therapists do.



The games go from 9:00 to about 5:00 pm over the two days.

We are looking for 6 Therapists for Friday April 9 and 6 Therapists for Sat. April 10 to work each of the arenas plus , one therapist for Sunday 11th to work one arena.



Primary duties:

Know where the AED are located in the arena and form an emergency action plan.

Be the primary in charge person for all traumas and emergencies on and off the ice.



In addition:

We are looking for Therapists to provide clinical support in the 6 arenas. You will need to bring your own equipment and table.



In exchange for your services a tax receipt will be issued if you wish. You will receive a golf shirt and meals.
