Coverage Request

Attention: help needed for pre and post-race services at 5 Peaks Trail Race, Saturday April 26th, 2008, Horseshoe Valley.


Mobile health network is one of the sponsors of the 5 Peaks Trail Race Series this year.

We are looking for assistance (approx 10-15 people) to provide pre and post-race services for runners at the 5 Peaks Trail Race. Mostly massage and stretching, however, other disciplines are welcome…. Sports Therapy, Athletic therapy, Trainers, Physios, ART, Acupuncture. There will be about 600 participants expected and they travel from all over the GTA to run. We will all be under the umbrella of mobile health network, however, if you are present, you will be representing your school and your clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure for your practice, and for students and new grads, to gain practical hours. Mobile health network is a multi-disciplinary health care team and service the GTA. We also network with other professionals and clinics in the GTA and surrounding regions.

Details:
Sat April 26th at Horseshoe Valley. Race starts at 10am. First runners will be finishing within 15 minutes of race start. The whole event and awards will be done by around noon.
There are 3 events: 5km, 10km, and children’s 1km. Usually kid’s race is first at 9:30. The 5 and 10km race starts at the same time at 10. More information can be found at www.5peaks.com


Please confirm interest by Apr19th, 2008. We will be able to provide canopies, and will need to know numbers ASAP to order them and plan layout. You will need to bring your own treatment tables.
