Ottawa Osteopathy & Sports Therapy is currently looking to fill a part-time leading to full-time AT position starting in August.

Based in central Ottawa, our clinic caters to the active population of the surrounding community offering injury prevention, treatment and improved performance in sport. Services currently offered are osteopathy, athletic therapy and massage therapy.

The Ottawa area includes:

• 700 000 residents,
• A multitude of sports clubs and fitness facilities,
• Recreation complexes for track and field, soccer, hockey, ultimate frisbee etc.

Working within a multidisciplinary treatment model, we encourage collateral learning experiences. Our treatment philosophy relies strongly on manual therapy skills, patient education and exercise programming to achieve rehabilitative goals. The clinic makes use of a marketing system that encourages patient referrals however all therapists are encouraged to network within the community to increase personal referrals.

The ideal candidate will have:

• good standing with the CATA,
• some previous course work completed in MFR, Muscle energy etc.
• clinical experience in treating sports and non-sport related injuries,
• certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist would be helpful but not required,
• bilingualism - English/French is also an asset.
